The joint staff director, logistics directorate (j4), approved the revision of joint publication (jp) 4-0, joint logistics. The publication, signed by the director of joint force development (j7), is the latest keystone document of the joint doctrine logistics series since 1995.
This publication provides doctrine for information operations planning, preparation, execution, and assessment in support of joint operations. Purpose this publication has been prepared under the direction of the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. It sets forth joint doctrine to govern the activities and performance of the armed forces.
